The Essential Atlas, a reference book from 2009, located the Shaylin system, and consequently Shaylin 18, within grid coordinate T-6. A mistake in one of the book's maps positioned the system close to the southern border of the grid square, incorrectly locating it within the Ash Worlds rather than the Pakuuni sector.
