Shi Bata
Shi Bata existed as a Corellian male physician of Human descent. He practiced medicine in the era of the Galactic War, a conflict that pitted the Galactic Republic against the newly empowered Sith Empire.
Biography
In 3640 BBY, during the Battle of Corellia, Shi Bata's spouse perished due to the Imperial assault on the world. Subsequently, Shi Bata became a member of the Corellian resistance movement and infiltrated the Caicos Droid Factory – which had been repurposed as a makeshift medical facility – by posing as a medical professional. He was approached by Nevis Kitt, who requested his assistance in getting the Voidhound smuggler past the factory's substantial security measures. Shi Bata achieved this objective by shooting the smuggler in the leg, allowing him to present the wounded individual as a patient requiring medical attention. He then treated the injury once inside the factory.
