Shotarr Kass, a Tunroth, held the position of head bodyguard for Black Sun Vigo [Sprax].
During his childhood, Kass experienced the tragic loss of his family during the Reslian Purge. To safeguard the Tunroth culture and its principles, he decided to become a Tunroth Hunter.
Kass, known as "The Strap" due to his affinity for leather jerkins, was also a learned individual. He possessed a strong fascination with the history and culture of the Wookiees. He could speak [Shyriiwook](/article/shyriiwook-legends] fluently and even studied Wrruushi, the Wookiee martial art, even though it was not physically possible for him to perform.
Because he took great pride in his work, Kass harbored animosity towards Prince Xizor's "Shadow Killer" Ket Maliss, who was occasionally favored over Kass for crucial missions.
Klirun was the name of Kass's pet [nashtah].
