Shoto Eyefire

Shoto Eyefire was a Defel of the male persuasion (see: male). He earned his living as a blastfighter for hire, and also engaged in criminal activities, gaining notoriety in the area. His primary residence was located in the vicinity of Horn Station.

Biography

Shoto Eyefire was a prominent figure in the local criminal underworld, holding significant power over Horn Station. As a professional blastfighter, he maintained his position through duels, challenging those who dared to oppose him. At times, Eyefire would select his opponents against their will, particularly if they demonstrated skill with a blaster. Despite his remarkable speed and precision as a gunslinger, Eyefire was also infamous for his dishonest tactics in duels. It was common for challengers to be given malfunctioning blasters, while Eyefire himself wore blast armor in the arena and often had armed henchmen on repulsor platforms as backup.

Duel with a Jedi

"Pinky" beats Shoto Eyefire.

Eyefire's fortune took a turn when an unknown Jedi was compelled to land at Horn Station to perform repairs on his hauler. Concealed as a stammering, unassuming miner, the Jedi entered a local cantina where he was ambushed by Kerlo, a thug in Eyefire's service. While being attacked, the Jedi defended himself using a subtle application of the Force Push ability, aiming to conceal his true identity. Subsequently, Kerlo challenged the Jedi to a duel, which resulted in the thug being incapacitated.

The Jedi was then invited, and subsequently coerced, into a confrontation with Eyefire in his private arena. Feigning nervousness and wielding an unusual-looking blaster, the Jedi allowed Eyefire to become overly confident. In a matter of moments, Eyefire was shot in both legs, and his blaster was disarmed due to the Jedi's exceptional reflexes. Eyefire's guards rushed to his aid, attempting to eliminate the Jedi, but the Jedi, now wielding his lightsaber, easily defeated them. The Jedi then revealed that the peculiar bulbous components of his blaster were, in reality, shaped charges, which he used to destroy Eyefire's arena. As he lay wounded, Eyefire noticed that the weapons used by Pinky were non-lethal, leading him to express his disdain for Jedi.

Later, Eyefire was observed being loaded onto a transport vehicle on a stretcher.
