Before the Lost Tribe of Sith's invasion of Alanciar in 2975 BBY, this continent, Alanciar, situated on the planet Kesh, existed independently, not under Sith dominion. The Alanciari comprising the Signal Corps were stationed in signal stations, which were tower-like buildings. Inside these stations, they utilized fireglobes to transmit encrypted communications to other stations, employing a language called semaphore. Notably, Jogan Halder, a member of the Signal Corps, played a role in the Sith's reunification of Alanciar by persuading the Alanciari that the Sith were not a danger.
