The Sirroning were a species of sentient beings characterized by six limbs and tan skin. An individual of this species, known as the Eye of Webbish Bog, shared a symbiotic relationship with a blind Areobernos on the planet of Mustafar.
The initial appearance of the Sirroning occurred in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: Expanded Edition, a novelization by Rae Carson based on the 2019 movie Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, which concluded the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Their identification as a distinct species came later, in the 2024 reference work, Star Wars Encyclopedia: The Comprehensive Guide to the Star Wars Galaxy. Originally, this species was conceived for inclusion in The Rise of Skywalker, but the scene featuring them was ultimately removed prior to the film's release.
