The shuttle was one of several private vehicles that the Sith Emperor kept for his personal transportation within the re-emerging Empire. During the Dromund Kaas confrontation between the Emperor and the Jedi Knight celebrated as the Hero of Tython, the Hero and their team seized the Emperor's shuttle in Kaas City. Their goal was to use it to travel to the Emperor's location at the Dark Temple.
