Skyriver Invader

The Skyriver Invader, a starship, served Zeta Magnus's genetic decoy during his time as Magister of Skye around 22 BBY. Its unusual triangular design reminded the Jedi Halagad Ventor of a T-11 model he played with as a youngling. Zeta Magnus gave the ship its name, inspired by the main galaxy utilized by the Nagai, an extragalactic species from whom he obtained cloaking technology in the Unknown Regions. This clone of Zeta Magnus kept the ship in the hangar bay of his mountaintop fortress situated on Skye. As Magnus attempted to flee the planet after a trio of Jedi thwarted his schemes, Padawan Ventor stopped the mutant by running him through with a liquid cable spike. As the mutant tried to consume the padawan, he was double-crossed by his droid, Blue-Tark, who activated the ship's engines and launched it. The Zeta Magnus clone was ultimately killed by Ventor, suffering from burns and radiation exposure from his ship's ion drive.

Apex Invader concept art

The Skyriver Invader originated from a concept for the Apex Invader, a vehicle proposed for, but ultimately cut from, The Epic Continues, a cancelled expansion of Kenner's Star Wars toy line. According to the fictional backstory, the Apex Invader was intended to be the personal starfighter of the new villain Atha Prime. The craft was designed to dock on top of Prime's starship, the Annihilator, providing him with an elevated command position during battles. It served as his personal combat vehicle and was piloted by his pilot droid Blue-Four.
