SN-D1 was a droid with feminine programming. During the Clone Wars, she served at the Droid Spa establishment on the world of Coruscant. Her job was to oversee the front desk of the spa and guide droid patrons to their designated areas.
Among the many droids with feminine programming at the Droid Spa, SN-D1 was one of them. This maintenance bar for droids was situated on Coruscant, the galactic capital, throughout the Clone Wars. SN-D1's duties at the Droid Spa included handling the front desk operations and pointing droid customers in the proper direction.
In the year 21 BBY, SN-D1 was stationed at the front desk of the Droid Spa. She was in the middle of a conversation with a protocol droid that had blue plating before signaling for it to re-enter the spa area. After the protocol droid had moved away from the desk, SN-D1 greeted R2-D2, an astromech droid, to the Droid Spa. She let the droid know that no appointment was needed and showed him to the spa's entrance. BO-N1, a fellow droid working at the spa, welcomed the astromech in. Before R2-D2 went in, SN-D1 wished him a good time.
SN-D1 had a humanoid form, with primarily pink and white plating. She also had blue photoreceptors and a light blue-colored "mouth" that would illuminate when she spoke. Above each photoreceptor was a curved piece of blue-gray plating, somewhat resembling eyebrows of an organic being.
SN-D1 was very welcoming to new customers who came to the Droid Spa. She happily showed them the way and wished them a pleasant experience at the spa, which was apparent in her interaction with R2-D2.
SN-D1 made an appearance in "Evil Plans," the eighth episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars' third season, an animated television show. The episode was broadcast on November 5, 2010. Angelique Perrin provided her voice, and she also voiced BO-N1, another spa droid, in "Evil Plans." During the episode, SN-D1 was not given a name. However, the credits did, but it did not specify which droid she was. The StarWars.com "Evil Plans" Episode Guide clarified this by identifying her as the pink droid.
