Spike was the designation for one of the exoboar piglets belonging to Sparky, a sizable exoboar maintained by the Ravagers pirate organization on the planet of Rishi. This took place around the time of the Battle of Rishi during the Galactic War. During an event where the Ravagers' previous chief, Ruugar, contracted outsiders to assault the Ravagers' stronghold within Coratanni Town with the intention to kill his disloyal second-in-command, Coratanni, Spike and the other exoboars from Sparky's litter, who were guarding the town's entrance alongside their parent, were killed by the outsiders.
Spike is featured as one of the sixteen specifically named exoboars that engage in combat with players during the Sparky encounter in "The Ravagers." This Operation was incorporated into the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic as part of the 2014 Digital Expansion titled Star Wars: The Old Republic: Shadow of Revan.
