Plug-F Mammoth Split-X engine
The Plug-F Mammoth Split-X engine, a Podracer engine designed by Collor Pondrat, saw usage around the era of the Invasion of Naboo and remained in use throughout the galaxy up to the time of the Galactic Civil War.
Characteristics

This Podracer engine, the Plug-F Mammoth Split-X, was a formidable creation of Collor Pondrat, prioritizing propulsive force over streamlined design. As one of the earliest factory-produced models, the Mammoth stood out with its split-X configuration. These engines utilized tradium fuel for chemical boosting, a patented quold runium system for pressurization, and ionized injectrine for activation. These features combined to make them some of the swiftest and most potent air-breathing turbine engines available. However, these engines were also notoriously fragile and difficult to maintain due to the corrosive and unstable tradium fuel's tendency to spontaneously ignite, causing significant wear and necessitating complete disassembly for repairs.
Despite being among the largest engines available, the Mammoth offered surprising maneuverability. Featuring a licensed Incom Mk. IV Starweaver flight control system, complete with maneuvering jets and advanced variable control, the Mammoth was easy to pilot in the air. This made it one of the top five best-selling factory custom engines for decades. During the Galactic Civil War, sales of the Mammoth decreased as Collor Pondrat introduced the Plug-2 Behemoth and Plug-G Gargantua.
