A weapon of terror, the spore bomb was devised by the Ho'Din terrorist Ort Hoogra-D'En. This device served as a means for dispersing bioweapons, crafted from a variety of plant spores. Hoogra-D'En detonated five such bombs, one of which resulted in the deaths of 45 individuals during the Bombing of Syndaar Military Prep School.
The bombs utilized tamack spores to propagate a disease characterized by its high contagiousness. The onset of infection was practically instantaneous, with fatality typically ensuing within a matter of hours. Transmission of the disease occurred via physical contact or inhalation. Complete submersion in bacta was an effective treatment. The destructive radius of the bomb extended to 40 meters.
