"Spy Girls," penned by Ryan Kaufman, is featured in Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures Volume 7. The characters in the story include Padmé Amidala, Sheltay Retrac, Gregar Typho, Bail Organa, and C-3PO. The artwork, including pencils and inks, is the work of Stewart McKenny.
Padmé Amidala, accompanied by Bail Organa, Sheltay Retrac, Captain Typho, and C-3PO, enter an opulent gala. The host, Bezz Drexx, is suspected by Organa of taking bribes from the Separatists. Amidala and Retrac separate themselves from the group (much to the annoyance of Typho) to mingle and gather information. They observe Drexx being approached by the uncle of Separatist leader Passel Argente, and follow them, completely disregarding the distress of C-3PO, who is being harassed by an obsessive droid enthusiast. The two women ascend the stairs, shedding their dresses to reveal action-ready bodysuits.
After neutralizing several guards through various methods, the pair arrives at Drexx's tower. Finding a divergence in the path, they are forced to split up. Amidala discovers Drexx in the process of accepting a case of gold from Argente's uncle. When the pair notices Amidala's camera, they immediately dispatch their guards to apprehend her. Amidala, feigning weakness, deceives the large men and escapes in a speeder piloted by Retrac. Back at Organa's apartment, they are delighted to find that the incriminating video can be used to hold Drexx accountable for his treachery. However, their expressions turn to horror when C-3PO receives credit for his "help," as they realize the droid was left behind with the obsessive droid lover from earlier.
