Squill Cave
The Squill Cave, situated within the desert landscape of Tatooine, served as a habitat for a large number of squill creatures.
History
During the time of the Galactic Civil War, a Rodian hermit made his home in the cave's depths and enlisted a spacer to assist in the mission to save Tatooine. This particular spacer would later be known as the Hero of Tatooine. Following the Battle of Yavin, a commoner residing in Anchorhead tried to entice spacers to enter the cave, eliminate squills, and gather their hides.
In the year 1 ABY, a spacer also made a trip to the cave while looking for a missing R2 unit diagnostic controller. Both the Imperial Commander Barrezz and the Rebel Captain Bastra were interested in acquiring it.
