Ssevrek was a male Trandoshan whose imprisonment occurred on Belsavis during the era of the Cold War, and he is classified as male. He managed to lead a group of fellow Trandoshan inmates to seize control of and reinforce a vault located within the High Security Section of the prison's facilities. Ssevrek and his followers were deeply committed to the traditions of the Scorekeeper, a fact that the Empire attempted to exploit in order to subjugate them. Captain Vandorn dispatched formidable combatants with the aim of defeating Ssevrek in battle, thereby enslaving him and his followers due to their rigid code of honor, which mandated obedience following defeat. Ssevrek suffered dishonor following his defeat, but he received word from his conquerors that he could redeem himself in the eyes of the Scorekeeper by battling the prisoners the Empire required to be defeated. Subsequently, the Empire's warriors either proceeded to enslave Ssevrek and his group or insisted that Vandorn demonstrate respect for them and their traditions.
