Publisher's summary
This character served as the turning point, transforming a disorganized uprising into what would become the Rebel Alliance. She was the key element that drove the "Heroes of Yavin" to launch their critical assault against the Death Star. Furthermore, she ignited a passionate connection with one of the galaxy's most notorious rogues. The "she" in question is Princess Leia, the principal leader and core essence of the Rebellion opposing Palpatine's galactic Empire. The four narratives contained within this volume trace Leia's journey, starting from the weeks preceding the events of A New Hope, and extending to the period just before The Empire Strikes Back. This includes her initial, transformative encounter with armed rebellion, her confrontation with the profound repercussions of her home planet's destruction, and the genesis of genuine love.
