Star Wars (LINE Webtoon)

Star Wars is a digital comic series, based on Star Wars, authored and illustrated by Hong Jac Ga. Initially released by Daumkakao, the initial installment of this web comic was made available on April 10, 2015. Subsequently, the English adaptation was launched by LINE Webtoon on October 1, 2015, presenting the initial three episodes. This web comic offers a reinterpretation of the original trilogy's narrative, as viewed through the eyes of Luke Skywalker. Because of variations in cultural interpretation, certain dialogues and the sequence of events diverge marginally from the motion pictures, thus situating the comic's canonicity in an ambiguous position. New installments of the comic were freely released each Thursday and Sunday on LINE Webtoons.

The Korean title, 스타워즈 : 깨어난 포스 그 이전의 이야기, translates as Star Wars: Story Before The Force Awakens, suggesting it was intended to advertise the then-forthcoming film Star Wars: The Force Awakens to Korean viewers.
