The Special Edition film is so unique that Dark Horse chose to release the comic adaptation concurrently as both a monthly, four-part comic series and a collected trade paperback edition. Dave Dorman created the artwork for each of the four individual comic covers; when arranged together, they create a sizable Star Wars visual, featuring the Death Star prominently in the middle.
