The Star Wars: Age of Rebellion Beta, a softcover rulebook in limited quantities, was published by Fantasy Flight Games for the Star Wars: Age of Rebellion roleplaying game. It was initially sold at Gen Con 2013, then released through retail channels beginning on September 27, 2013.
Included in the Age of Rebellion Beta is the adventure titled "Operation: Shell Game". The book also contained seven character sheets, with six of them featuring pre-generated characters: Lelsk (Bothan Spy/Infiltrator), RA-7-D (Droid Engineer/Saboteur), Doleth (Duros Soldier, Commando), Gorbek Fask (Gran Diplomat/Ambassador), Jaxon Brand (Human Commander/Tactician), and Dero Jin (Sullustan Ace/Piot).
Within Star Wars: Age of Rebellion, players engage in combat against the Galactic Empire as rebel spies, skilled pilots, and dedicated soldiers. The Age of Rebellion beta provides an opportunity for players to influence the Star Wars universe by collaborating with the game's developers to create the ultimate Rebellion experience!
