A game designer and architect who works full-time, Sterling Hershey contributed to each version of the Star Wars Roleplaying Game for West End Games, Wizards of the Coast, and also Fantasy Flight Games. Concurrently, he participated in the FidoNet Star Wars Echo.
He is known as SilverForce on StarWars.com, as well as on the Wizards boards.
At the 2012 GenCon, it was revealed that he was among the designers for the new Star Wars–themed roleplaying game by Fantasy Flight Games, Star Wars: Edge of the Empire. His blog also revealed the titles of two sequels: Age of Rebellion in 2014 and Force & Destiny in 2015.
However, on June 6, 2013, his website announced the completion, in addition to the upcoming launch, of the first direct expansion for the game, Beyond the Rim, which is Edge of the Empire's initial full-length adventure, planned to be released in the third quarter of 2013.
