The Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire Embossed Metal Collector Cards represent a set of six limited-edition trading cards. Metallic Impressions launched these cards in 1997 as a component of the broader Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire multimedia endeavor. The fronts of each of the six cards showcase color images replicating the cover art from each of the six editions of the Shadows of the Empire comic series. On the reverse sides, the cards present a narrative summary from the corresponding comic issue, accompanied by a panel reproduction from that comic.
