Publisher's summary

Starkiller, Darth Vader's pitiless apprentice, received a brutal education in the dark side's ways. He was tasked with eliminating the remaining Jedi and prepared for the ultimate Sith act: the Emperor's assassination. He obeyed without question, killed without regret, and unexpectedly fell in love with Juno Eclipse, an Imperial fighter pilot. Unbeknownst to him, he was merely a pawn in his masters' schemes, a realization that came too late to avoid their deadly betrayal.

Juno believed Starkiller was dead...but he has returned, his memories erased and programmed for assassination. As fate draws Juno and Starkiller closer to a reunion, with Darth Vader determined to retain his assassin, both must take a stand. Freedom is the reward. Failure means eternal enslavement to the Force's dark side....
