The sequence of ten novels for young readers titled Star Wars: The Last of the Jedi was authored by Jude Watson. These books chronicle the adventures of Ferus Olin during the era that separates Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith from Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.
From the initial installment, Return of the Dark Side, the book covers displayed the simplified title Last of the Jedi. The Legends edition of the series presents all books under the Last of the Jedi title.
