Star Wars Adventures: Princess Leia and the Royal Ransom, released by Dark Horse Comics on July 29, 2009, represents the second installment in the Star Wars Adventures series of graphic novellas.
The Rebel Alliance depends on Princess Leia, Han Solo, and Chewbacca to get them crucial intel. However, Han's desire for quick money leads him astray. Despite Leia's warnings and the looming threat of Imperial Star Destroyers, Han impulsively lands at a bustling smuggling center to acquire cargo. Regrettably, the crate he loads onto the Millennium Falcon holds a surprise far more complicated than anticipated: the abducted and alluring Princess Mi!
Leia, Han, and Chewbacca are in a frantic race to deliver crucial information to the Rebel Alliance, narrowly avoiding capture by the pursuing Imperial forces. Han, against Leia's wishes, makes an unplanned stop at a notorious smuggling port. Consequently, their mission becomes intertwined with the kidnapping and ransom of the lovely Princess Mi. Now, the Millennium Falcon finds itself hunted not only by the Empire but also by gangsters, bounty hunters, and the kidnappers themselves.
While Princess Mi's allure might captivate any man, Han Solo will soon appreciate the value of having a princess like Leia by his side before this escapade concludes.
