Star Wars Weekly 117: The Creature... The Empire... The Terror! represents the 117th installment in the Marvel Star Wars UK comic book series.

Contained within this issue is the second segment of a two-part narrative that was originally published in the United States as Star Wars (1977) 38.

Beginning with the subsequent issue, the comic's title was changed to The Empire Strikes Back Weekly, while maintaining the sequential numbering established under its former title. This alteration was initially announced in an advertisement featuring C-3PO and R2-D2 within Star Wars Weekly 116.
