Stefan Grube collaborated with Maryann Brandon as a film editor for the 2019 movie Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, which was directed by J.J. Abrams. Previously, in Abrams' 2015 film Star Wars Episode VII The Force Awakens, Grube took on the role of Yolo Ziff; Brandon also served as an editor on this earlier film.
