Stimsenj'kat, an MC80 Star Cruiser, served within the ranks of the Alliance Fleet.
During the period of the Galactic Civil War, the Stimsenj'kat spearheaded a recovery operation within an asteroid field. The mission's objective was to secure a substantial quantity of lonsigar, previously abandoned inside a pair of cargo containers. To facilitate the retrieval, the cruiser dispatched six Delta-class DX-9 stormtrooper transports belonging to the Renhoek group, tasking them with unloading the containers and transporting the lonsigar back to the ship.
Regrettably, the operation proved to be a calculated Imperial ambush. Three Nebulon-B frigates emerged from hyperspace, unleashing swarms of TIE Fighters, TIE Bombers, and TIE Avengers with the intent of eliminating the Rebels.
Happily, the Rebel pilot Keyan Farlander, along with his fellow pilots, successfully neutralized the majority of the Imperial forces. This provided the Stimsenj'kat with the crucial time needed to complete the cargo transfer and execute a successful escape into hyperspace.
The name Stimsenj'kat bears a resemblance to "Stimpson J. Cat," a main character featured in the animated television show Ren & Stimpy. Similarly, the name of the cruiser's transport group, Renhoek, echoes "Ren Höek," the other primary character from the same series.

Despite the Mon Calamari Star Cruisers in Star Wars: X-Wing: Collector's CD-ROM being identified in-game as MC80a Star Cruisers, their visual design is based on the Home One type Star Cruiser that appeared in Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi.
