The Gurian company manufactured the Storm hoverbike during the Galactic War, a conflict that pitted the Galactic Republic against the reconstituted Sith Empire.

The Gurian Storm made its initial appearance in the Star Wars: The Old Republic video game on July 22, 2015. It was included as part of the Outer Rim Explorer's Pack available on the Cartel Market.
