A conveyance was utilized by stormtroopers under the command of Thrawn's Empire during the Trogan ambush against the Smugglers' Alliance on the planet Trogan. This open-topped repulsorcraft was part of a larger force that included two LAVr QH-7 Chariots along with divisions of both Imperial stormtroopers and Army troopers throughout the Thrawn campaign.
The design of this troop transport bore a resemblance to the repulsorlift powered Platoon Attack Craft that the Trade Federation employed during the Invasion of Naboo.
The transport made its initial appearance within the Star Wars Legends storyline in The Last Command 2, the second installment of the comic book adaptation of The Last Command. This comic issue, released on December 24, 1997, was penned by Mike Baron and brought to life through the illustrations of Edvin Biukovic, with colors added by Pamela Rambo.

A comparable vehicle appeared in the early-1997 Special Edition re-release of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, which within Star Wars canon is known as the stormtrooper transport. However, this Special Edition repulsorcraft had one key difference when compared to the The Last Command transport: the hull encompassing the Special Edition troop transport was rounder, whereas the transport from The Last Command had a sleeker appearance.
