The Swift Market existed in Pinyumb, which served as the capital city for the planet of Sullust. Following the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry's capture of the Inyusu Tor mineral processing facility that was situated near the city in 3 ABY, the Galactic Empire initiated a lockdown of Pinyumb. Inside the Swift Market, Imperial stormtroopers discovered several residents who were lacking food; the stormtroopers told them they should have stayed in their residences. Consequently, the residents were assaulted, injured, and fired upon. Some of these individuals made their way back to a dormitory where Nien Nunb, a resistance fighter, and Hazram Namir, the 61st's cautious captain, were distributing provisions. One of the wounded individuals recounted their encounter with the stormtroopers at the Swift Market to them.
