Systems Database

The Systems Database represents a comprehensive collection of data, organized as a spreadsheet, that Jason Fry has been developing since the year 1995. Its main objective is to document the locations of various places in the galaxy as they appear within the Expanded Universe. The database provides an inventory of planets, detailing their respective systems and sectors when this information is available, alongside hints about their spatial relationships to other celestial objects, noteworthy stellar or galactic characteristics, and established trade routes.

Although it has not been made available online or shared with the general public, the Systems Database has served as a reference tool for Lucasfilm. Furthermore, both Daniel Wallace and James Luceno consulted it when creating their map for the New Jedi Order series. Fry and Wallace also plan to incorporate as much data from the database as feasible into the forthcoming Essential Atlas.

In October of 2007, Fry's database had grown to include 3900 distinct entries. By the year 2015, the database had expanded further, encompassing a total of 5,085 systems.
