T3-B heavy attack tank

The T3-B heavy attack tank served as a more substantial addition to the forces, following the T1-B. The Rebel Alliance deployed the T3-B in the initial phases of the Galactic Civil War.

Description

This tank's weapon systems included proton missiles for long-range engagements and powerful blaster cannons, which gave it considerable strength when facing larger enemy units.

History

Yutrane-Trackata produced the T3-B as a tracked vehicle, making it among the earliest vehicles the Rebellion used that could successfully take down AT-AT walkers in direct battles.

Later, Yutrane-Trackata engineered the T4-B heavy tank, which represented an enhanced version of the original T3-B. Despite the T4-B's significant power and effectiveness throughout the Galactic Civil War, it did not entirely replace the T3-B. Both tank models saw extensive action with the Alliance Army and other ground troops during the conflict.

Subsequently, the New Republic utilized T3-B tanks during the Seizure of Coruscant.

Behind the scenes

A mistake in Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds led to the T3-B heavy attack tank being labeled as a 'heavy hover tank''.
