Taan, a Shamed One belonging to the Yuuzhan Vong, was positioned on the Stalking Moon. She proposed aiding Corran Horn by establishing communication with the larger Yuuzhan Vong force that was about to assault Yag'Dhul. Her agreement, however, was contingent upon first seeing Tahiri Veila, recognized by Taan as the One-who-was-shaped.
