Tales of the Jedi (audio drama)

Tales of the Jedi is an audio drama. It's an adaptation of the comics Tales of the Jedi: Knights of the Old Republic and Tales of the Jedi: The Freedon Nadd Uprising by Tom Veitch. John Whitman adapted the comics, and Time Warner AudioBooks initially put it out on cassette in 1995. Later, on May 5, 2005, HighBridge Audio released it on CD.

Publisher's summary

"For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the most powerful, most respected force in the galaxy. . . The guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic." Obi-Wan Kenobi spoke these words, giving a hint of the great legend of the Jedi Knights.

Follow the journeys of Ulic Qel-Droma and Nomi Sunrider, young Jedi Knights. They are pulled into a fight against the dark side, a fight that could decide the destiny of the planet and the entire galaxy!

Continuity

The story does not include the subplot about the raid on the Ithullan ore hauler, the capture of Finhead Stonebone, and the quest for Nomi's Adegan crystals. Instead, elements from The Freedon Nadd Uprising replace these parts, such as the Naddists' terrorist actions on Onderon and the Ketos's journey to Coruscant. In the end, Gudb, rather than Finhead, is dispatched to confront Nomi once more.
