Talia Moonseeker, a female Aargauun, achieved the rank of Jedi Knight within the Galactic Republic during its final years. Her training was overseen by Jedi Master Va'too, and she proved her worth by successfully completing the Jedi Trials. A mere four months after becoming a Knight, Moonseeker, accompanied by her former Master and a sizable group of Jedi, embarked on a mission to rescue Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi from his impending execution on the planet of Geonosis. This rescue attempt escalated into the opening battle of the Clone Wars; Moonseeker lived through the conflict, but her former Master died. Deeply affected by this loss, she grieved for her fallen mentor on the very battlefield where he perished.
Talia Moonseeker, a female Aargauun, existed in the twilight years of the Galactic Republic. Due to her inherent Force-sensitivity, the Jedi Order welcomed Moonseeker into their ranks. Jedi Master Va'too selected her as his Padawan and around 22 BBY, she triumphed over the Jedi Trials and was elevated to the status of a full-fledged Jedi Knight.
Following her promotion to Jedi Knight by four months, Obi-Wan Kenobi, a fellow Knight, was apprehended by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during a mission on Geonosis, an Outer Rim planet, and condemned to death. Moonseeker and her former Master joined a strike team, organized by Jedi Master Mace Windu, to liberate the captured Jedi. However, the intended rescue transformed into a full-scale battle against the Separatist Droid Army. Moonseeker survived this engagement, which signaled the commencement of the Clone Wars, but Va'too was killed in action. After the Republic secured victory, Moonseeker revisited the execution arena, the location where the conflict ignited, and mourned her former Master, ensuring his body was retrieved from the battlefield.
Under Master Va'too's guidance, Talia Moonseeker rose to the position of Jedi Knight. She lived through the Battle of Geonosis, where many other Jedi, including her former Master, were killed. After the battle concluded, Moonseeker expressed her grief at the side of her Master's body and made sure that clone troopers from the Republic removed Va'too's remains.

Moonseeker's initial appearance was in Wild Space, a novel associated with the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series. Karen Miller authored Wild Space, which was released in 2008. Within the book, the spelling of her species, Aargauun, was incorrectly written as Argauun. Miller acknowledged the error and confirmed that she was referencing the already existing species, rather than introducing a new one.
