Captain Talpron served as a pilot within the Corellian Defense Forces Space Service. During the First Corellian Insurrection, he commanded Squadron Two. In that conflict, the CDF space forces sided with the rebels, while the CDF ground forces remained loyal. Talpron played a role in a complex deception intended to create a perception of CDF reliability. This involved a simulated attack on the Millennium Falcon by ships known as Uglies, presented as space pirates, which CDF Pocket Patrol Boats were meant to prevent. The deception failed when Han Solo exited hyperspace earlier than planned.
