During the Battle of Tammuz-an, Tammuz-an capital ships along with fighters are shown moving to engage the Demolisher.
The space-based defense force of Tammuz-an, a relatively small fleet, was under the command of its King, Mon Julpa.
The Tammuz-an fleet was composed of a number of R-22 Spearhead starfighters squadrons, H-60 Tempest bombers and capital ships of frigate size; these ships formed the primary and final defense against any threats to the sector.
The navy had the duty of safeguarding both the space surrounding Tammuz-an, and the Tammuz-an shipping fleet. Before the Battle of Yavin occurred, Mon Julpa brought Jann Tosh, a miner, into the naval force, granting him the rank of Captain.
At approximately this same point in time, Gir Kybo Ren-Cha, a pirate, launched an assault on Tammuz-an, utilizing his stolen Star Destroyer, known as the Demolisher. The Tammuz-an space navy put up a strong fight against the Demolisher, as well as Kybo's heavily modified TIE fighters, resulting in the successful repulsion of the attacking enemy.
A continuity issue existed because the A-wing and B-wing starfighters, which were seen docked in hangar bays and traveling through space during the series, had not been manufactured at the time the animated series was set. However, a retcon has since resolved this issue, establishing that they were earlier versions of the same vessels: specifically, the R-22 Spearhead and the H-60 Tempest bomber.
