Tandankin, a world situated within the Spadja sector of the Outer Rim Territories, is classified as a planet.
During the Galactic War, a popular governor was murdered, and the case was never solved. This event caused the various ethnic groups on Tandankin to blame each other, pushing the planet to the verge of total societal collapse.
Following the Battle of Endor, the planet was occupied by Grand Moff Nivers. However, Wedge Antilles, Luke Skywalker, and Rogue Squadron liberated Tandankin. To prevent the launch of Imperial TIE/LN starfighters, Wedge destroyed a tall tower, causing it to fall and crush the fighters.
This tower held great cultural significance for the inhabitants of Tandankin, and they reacted with anger and condemnation towards Wedge. Luke then admonished them for their behavior, leading to the populace apologizing to Wedge and expressing their gratitude.
Roughly ten months after the Battle of Endor, the Stenax invaded the planet, utilizing stolen Imperial military technologies. This resulted in the deaths of millions.
