Their objective was to uncover proof of Emoch's illicit activities. During this incident, as Emoch was escorted by the Dreamers to the Affadar water purification plant, Taryai, along with his mother and his sister, were held as captives. Emoch confessed that the water produced by the plant was hazardous after the Dreamers deceived him into thinking Taryai was being coerced into drinking it.
