Tau squadron

Tau Squadron was a group of TIE aviators within the Imperial fleet during the year 3 ABY. This group operated while positioned in the space surrounding the lunar body known as Toshara.

During an operation to illegally transport items on behalf of Crimson Dawn, Kay Vess engaged in combat with, and ultimately destroyed, Tau Squadron.

Behind the scenes

The first appearance of Tau Squadron occurred in the game Star Wars Outlaws, which was developed by Ubisoft and revealed in August of 2024. It is possible that this squadron survived their confrontation with Vess, or that the encounter never occurred at all.
