The shipyard belonging to the Telgorn Corporation, a space-based platform, featured a pair of hangar bays utilized for the construction of starships, including Star Destroyers and Strike-class medium cruisers.

This shipyard was engineered to be a versatile facility, capable of assembling substantial starships exceeding one kilometer in length. Reaching almost 1.6 kilometers in length itself, such a shipyard demanded a crew of 3,650 individuals, comprised of 800 engineers and 2,200 mechanics.
Due to the lack of offensive weaponry on these stations, they relied on their reinforced hulls and resilient shielding for defense. Consequently, it was typical for them to be safeguarded by a minefield, Gun Emplacements, or even a smaller capital warship. Some starfighters could also be accommodated within the spacious hangars; however, the constant flow of work vehicles in and out might have slowed down rapid deployment.
Composed of three modules on each side of the central construction bay, six sizable modules housed assembly lines, machine shops, and living quarters for the crew. The two modules positioned directly above the hangar pods were marginally larger than the other four. While the station's internal facilities could produce components, a continuous supply of pre-fabricated parts was essential for the station to function at peak efficiency. Therefore, it was common to observe a shipyard encircled by cargo vessels of varying sizes, attended by work crews in Utility Tugs or Heavy Lifters offloading Cargo Containers filled with equipment intended for starship manufacturing.
The command center, situated on the gantry spanning the two larger modules, was outfitted with two powerful antennas used to transmit signals for coordinating the activities of all vessels in the vicinity of the shipyard. However, these structures posed a risk to inattentive pilots. The command center also featured a pair of small sensor globes that supplied traffic information to the command personnel.
Beneath the primary drydock and construction platform lay a single, expansive solar panel array, featuring over a quarter of a square kilometer of solar cells on each side. This array was capable of providing a substantial portion of the station's energy requirements, thereby significantly decreasing its reliance on costly and difficult-to-transport reactor fuels.

Following the Battle of Hoth, the Alliance to Restore the Republic constructed a shipyard of this design, named Calenz, within the Nocto system. It met its end during the Battle of Nocto, destroyed by Imperial Task Force Vengeance.
