Obi-WanFrameDate

An exclusive sneak peek at Marvel's Star Wars comics for May 2022, including "A Tale from Obi-Wan's Youngling Days," which you can find at StarWars.com (backup link), A Tale from Obi-Wan's Youngling Days and More from Marvel's May 2022 Star Wars Comics – Exclusive Preview, makes it clear that the framing narrative of Obi-Wan 1 happens in Obi-Wan Kenobi's last days on Tatooine. This indicates that it's situated not long before what unfolds in Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope. Given that Star Wars: Timelines places the start of A New Hope in 0 BBY, the Obi-Wan framing story must transpire around c. 1 BBY.
