The mountainous and tropical world of Tenupe, a planet situated along the [Sparkle Run], resided in the Tenupe system inside the Utegetu Nebula of Wild Space. The Shattered Moon served as its orbiting satellite. Populated with numerous inland seas, Tenupe initially fell under the dominion of the Killiks, but the Chiss seized control during the Battle of Tenupe in 36 ABY, a conflict that occurred during the Swarm War. Following the Dark Nest Crisis, both Jagged Fel and Alema Rar found themselves stranded on this planet for a period of two years, ultimately departing with a Twi'lek story-chain acquired during their time there.
