Publisher's summary

The summary provided by the publisher highlights the following: Dengar, a character known for his cunning and mercenary nature; 4-LOM, a calculating and precise individual; and Bossk, a relentless and formidable figure. These bounty hunters, each lethal in their own right, are all in pursuit of what might be the most significant reward of their careers: a member of the Rebel Alliance who pilots the Millennium Falcon. However, the target is not who one might expect! On the unusual planet of Xokhal, the repulsive Quaffug the Hutt has orchestrated a hunt purely for his own entertainment. With these unscrupulous bounty hunters all competing for the same prize money, the usual rules no longer apply. Nevertheless, Quaffug and the hired rogues he employs might find that their seemingly "helpless" prey presents a greater challenge than they initially anticipated.

Plot summary

The narrative of this comic book centers on Lando Calrissian, who was on a diplomatic mission for the Rebel Alliance when he visited the palace of Quaffug, who is a Hutt. Upon arriving at Quaffug's location, Lando was captured and sentenced to die, allegedly due to Quaffug's accusation that Lando had cheated during a game of sabacc. For his own amusement, Quaffug allowed Lando a head start to escape, before unleashing a group of mercenaries to hunt and kill him for sport. During his escape, Lando encountered a friendly species he had never met before, called the Jokhalli. After defeating them at divot, Lando successfully gained the Jokhalli's support by promising to aid in Quaffug's downfall and use them to capture his pursuers. Subsequently, he returned to Quaffug's palace accompanied by the Jokhalli and the captured mercenaries. Lando then managed to persuade Quaffug to join the Alliance. This decision frustrated the leader of the Jokhalli, who had desired Quaffug's death. This disagreement led to a conflict between Lando and the Jokhalli leader, which Lando ultimately won. Following these events, Lando departed from Quaffug's palace, having successfully convinced Quaffug to ally with the Alliance.
