Publisher's summary

Starkiller, Darth Vader's pitiless apprentice, underwent a brutal education in the dark side. He was tasked with eliminating the remaining Jedi and being molded for the ultimate Sith scheme: the Emperor's assassination. He obeyed unquestioningly, killed without regret, and unexpectedly fell in love with Juno Eclipse, a beautiful Imperial fighter pilot, never realizing he was merely a pawn in his masters' plans—until he could no longer avoid their deadly treachery.

Juno believed Starkiller was dead, but now he has returned, devoid of memories and programmed for killing. As fate draws Juno and Starkiller closer to a reunion, and with Darth Vader determined to keep his assassin this time, they must both take a stand. Freedom is the reward. Failure means eternal servitude to the dark side of the Force.
