To commemorate this progress, the chancellor is organizing "The Republic Fair," a grand display highlighting the potential and tranquility of the ever-growing Republic—a principle the Jedi are committed to promoting. Figures like Stellan Gios, Bell Zettifar, Elzar Mann, and others participate as envoys of harmony. However, as the galaxy's attention converges on the Fair, the Nihil's wrath intensifies. Their commander, Marchion Ro, is determined to dismantle this unified spirit. His onslaught disrupts the spectacle and festivities, instigating mayhem and seeking retribution.

Marc Thompson, a seasoned narrator of Star Wars audiobooks, narrated the audiobook, which Random House Audio released on June 29, 2021. Kevin Thomsen handled the production and direction, while Nick Martorelli served as the executive producer. Paul Goodrich and Justin Kilpatrick were responsible for the audiobook's post-production and sound mixing.
In May of 2022, Lizzie Audio released a French language version of the audiobook featuring narration by Emmanuel Dekoninck. Later, in August of 2024, a German language version of the audiobook, narrated by Oliver Siebeck, was made available by Random House Audio, Deutschland.
