What the Publisher Says

After the intense occurrences in Light of the Jedi, the heroes of the High Republic period make their return to grapple with a shattered sense of peace and a formidable adversary.

Following the widespread destruction of the Great Disaster and the valor demonstrated by the Jedi, the Republic's influence expands, uniting diverse worlds under a shared banner. Under the guidance of Chancellor Lina Soh, the spirit of unity permeates the galaxy, spearheaded by the Jedi and the newly constructed Starlight Beacon station.

To commemorate this progress, the chancellor is organizing "The Republic Fair," a grand display highlighting the potential and tranquility of the ever-growing Republic—a principle the Jedi are committed to promoting. Figures like Stellan Gios, Bell Zettifar, Elzar Mann, and others participate as envoys of harmony. However, as the galaxy's attention converges on the Fair, the Nihil's wrath intensifies. Their commander, Marchion Ro, is determined to dismantle this unified spirit. His onslaught disrupts the spectacle and festivities, instigating mayhem and seeking retribution.

As the Jedi fight to contain the widespread devastation inflicted by the rampaging Nihil, they are confronted with the true terror their enemy intends to unleash throughout the galaxy. A kind of fear that even the Force is unable to provide a refuge from.
