The Thune Cargo

"The Thune Cargo" is a narrative presented as a comic strip, authored by Martin Fisher, and visually brought to life by Ingo Römling. This tale saw its initial release within the pages of the twenty-second issue of the Star Wars Rebels Magazine collection, courtesy of Egmont UK Ltd.

The initial concept situated the story on Camson under the title "Cargo on Camson." However, the Lucasfilm Story Group proposed a change, advocating for the utilization of Thune, a location familiar from the Star Wars: Adventures in Wild Space series. As stated by Fisher, the events of this story unfold in the timeline nestled between the Star Wars Rebels episodes "The Mystery of Chopper Base" and "Twilight of the Apprentice."

Continuity

A textual mistake appears on page 27 of the magazine edition of the comic. Specifically, Hera Syndulla incorrectly states "I had to take care off a pest problem before leaving the base," instead of the accurate phrasing, "I had to take care of a pest problem before leaving the base." This error was subsequently rectified in the Star Wars Rebels TPB.
