A magazine series titled Star Wars Rebels Magazine (known as Star Wars Rebels Magazin in Germany and _Star Wars Rebels _le magazine officiel in France) was brought to the public by Titan Magazines within the United States, by Egmont UK Ltd in the United Kingdom, and by Panini in Germany. This magazine included details and comics inspired by the Star Wars Rebels animated television show. The premiere issue was available in the UK starting on January 28, 2015, whereas the US release happened on October 20, 2015, with its final issue being December 20, 2016. Publication was sustained in Germany and Russia until its last printing on December 20, 2017; it was then succeeded by the Star Wars Rebels Animation magazine, which proceeded to present Star Wars Rebels related comics.
A comic spanning 12 pages was included in each edition of Star Wars Rebels Magazine from January 2015 onward. Martin Fisher and Jeremy Barlow are among the writers for these issues. The illustrators involved Bob Molesworth, Ingo Römling, and Eva Widermann. Gunther Nickel served as the series editor.
Issues 36 and 38 did not contain any new comic material, instead offering reprints of "Sabotaged Supplies" and "Ezra's Vision", respectively.
