The most expansive marketplace in Theed was the Theed market square. Before the Invasion of Naboo occurred, this area was characterized by the presence of four water features, numerous sculptures and seating, power generators, and multiple access points leading into the Theed sewer system. In the course of the Invasion, the Trade Federation Droid Army destroyed the marketplace completely, constructing a prison camp in its place, with gun-equipped watchtowers surrounding the perimeter.
