Thiafeña, a celestial body, resided within the Mid Rim region. Throughout the Republic Era, during the time of the Galactic Republic, Thiafeña was a producer of foodstuff. Being a part of the Mid Rim Cooperation proposal, which encompassed various Mid Rim territories, Thiafeña was tasked with supplying food to Bromlarch, a planet devastated by groundquakes. The aforementioned motion was presented to the Galactic Senate by Senator Padmé Amidala in 28 BBY.
The 2019 book Queen's Shadow, penned by E. K. Johnston, included a reference to Thiafeña.
